It is an event series where we reveal the sources from our collections with the participation of national and international academics and researchers who are experts in their fields within the scope of the determined themes. Within the scope of this series, we offer workshops, conferences, podcasts, and many more.

Within this project’s scope, a team of 4 people is working on both the Great Seljuk period and the Anatolian Seljuk and Principality period. Preparations for relevant social media posts, blog posts, subject guides, conferences, and podcasts continue in this context.

Suna Kıraç Library and its branch libraries aimed to bring together the Treasury Series collections and resources with researchers and interested people throughout September-December 2023. Within the scope of this project, the 10th theme of the Treasure Series was “The Sun of Anatolia: Hittites”.
BYZANTINE STUDIES IN REPUBLICAN TURKEY
Koç University Libraries (Suna Kıraç Library and branch libraries AKMED, ANAMED and VEKAM) continued their project with the theme of Treasury Gallery 9: “Byzantine Studies in Republican Turkey” which was initiated to increase the visibility of their collections to address informative and interesting topics and to present them online to researchers.

Treasury Gallery 6: “Numismatics: Journey of Coins Through the Ages” was initiated to increase the visibility of their collections to address informative and interesting topics and to present them online to researchers.
HOLDING ON THE FUTURE: PROTECTING CULTURAL HERITAGE
Treasury Gallery 5: “Holding on the Future: Protecting Cultural Heritage” was initiated to increase the visibility of their collections, to address informative and interesting topics and to present them online to researchers.
Treasury Gallery 4: Civil Architecture was initiated to increase the visibility of their collections, to address informative and interesting topics and to present them online to researchers.
2021

Within the scope of this project, with a team of 5 staff members, various tasks and activities are carried out surrounding travel books and travelers until the 19th century, in Istanbul, Ankara and Antalya.
The Treasury Gallery aims to present the library’s digital collections to users with different themes through various events such as conferences, exhibitions, and blog posts throughout the year.
The project performed by a team of 3, focused on 3 sub-categories: “architecture and public space” in October, “art and crafts” in November, and finally culture (cuisine, entertainment and music) in December.
