New “Researcher Development Webinar” Videos are Available on Video Hub!
|
In Fall 2023, SKL invited two speakers for the Library Researcher Development Seminars. The recordings of these seminars are now available on Library Video Hub! The “Preprints and Postprints: Navigating the Research Publication Cycle” seminar conducted by Uğur Teğin from the College of Engineering discusses the usage of preprints, its importance, the benefits of preprint publishing for researchers, and popular preprint platforms. Additionally, Uğur Teğin shared his valuable insights based on his experiences.
“Introducing EconBiz: A search Portal for business and economics and services for faculty and students” video, which Dr. Tamara Pianos presented, provides detailed information about the EconBiz platform usage and resources. The platform also partnered with the Suna Kıraç Library, contains numerous resources and case studies in economics and business. Suna Kıraç Library employ students on an hourly basis in positions that are both challenging and responsible. Announcements for the Work-Study Program are made via e-mail at the beginning of each term by the Dean of Student's Office. You can apply for the Work-Study Program on KUSIS after application announcements are made. And you can work a maximum of 20 hours in a month under the Work-Study Program. If you would like to get more detailed information, you can always stop by the library to meet face to face.
