The collection encompasses images of cities and structures from various cities in Turkey, human landscapes, tourist locations, archaeological sites, and historical artifacts, making it a valuable resource for Turkey's visual memory from 1950 to 2000.
Our opening event for the Keskin Color Postcard Collection, titled "The Story of Postcards from Yesterday to Today," took place on October 17, 2023, at the ANAMED Library, with the participation of Keskin Color Company's executives and our donors Reşit Keskin and Berkin Keskin, moderated by journalist and writer, Nilay Örnek. During this event, they discussed the establishment of the Keskin Color Company, the process of creating postcards, the changing printing technologies over the years, and the process of donating the collection to Koç University Suna Kıraç Library. We would like to thank all the participants. The digitization of the collection will continue in 2024.

Sustainable Development Goals Libguide
|
At SKL, we not only embrace the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but also continually align and update our services to support these goals. In this regard, we've created a comprehensive guide aimed at providing detailed information and raising awareness among our users about the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
To make it even more user-friendly, we've incorporated relevant SDG logos into some of our existing guides, making it simple for you to identify which guides are related to specific SDGs. Additionally, you can easily find SKL Subject Guides associated with SDGs by using the SDG tag in your search.

Find the Group Study Rooms Booking Steps video in the How to Use Section on the Library Video Hub. Here are some tips to help you with your room bookings:
- The Room Booking calendar displays available slots three days in advance, so it's a good idea to make your bookings early to reserve a room.
- Remember to click 'Submit my Booking' at the end of your reservation; failing to do so means your booking is incomplete, and you may lose your spot.
- If you can't make it to your reservation, please consider canceling it to free up the room for others. Check your email for the cancellation link.
- If you've booked a room, be sure to bring the key with your KU ID card.
- Returning the room key on time ensures the next user can access the room promptly 😊
- As a courtesy to fellow users, it's the responsibility of the person who booked the room to keep it clean.

Hello, I am İsmet Mazlumoğlu, the new Senior Systems Librarian at Suna Kıraç Library. My journey in the world of libraries began when I studied Computer Programming at Boğaziçi University. Since then, my entire career has been dedicated to developing and managing the IT infrastructures of libraries. It all started with my part-time position at my university library while I was a student, and I've been fortunate to continue working at my favorite place — libraries!
Over the years, I've had the privilege of contributing to libraries such as Bogazici University Library and Istanbul Bilgi University Library. I've also assisted several academic libraries with their automation projects. As of August 2023, I am excited to bring my passion and expertise to the SKL team.
As a member of the Information Technologies team, I am committed to delivering top-notch technological services to all SKL users and staff. I look forward to collaborating with you and enhancing the library experience for everyone. You may contact me at imazlumoglu@ku.edu.tr

Dear Koç University Members, I am delighted to introduce myself as a new team member of the ANAMED Library. Although I've just joined the team, I've been an admirer of the work done here for a considerable time. I'm eager to share my excitement for the new steps we will take in the next academic semester and to extend my warmest greetings to all of you.
My educational journey began at Çorum Öğretmen Mukadder Akaydın Anatolian High School. Then, I pursued my higher education at Hacettepe University, starting in 2014, majoring in Information Management. In 2017, I was selected to participate in the Department of Economics through the double major program. I was entitled to receive my diplomas as an honor student in 2021. Following this, I was admitted to the Information Management Master's Degree Program at Hacettepe University. During this time, I gained valuable experience working in various departments, including e-Resource Management, Collection Development, and User and Access Services, at Bilkent University Library, where I spent two enriching years.
As of October, I've had the privilege of moving to Istanbul and continuing my career as a branch librarian at the ANAMED Library. I am proud to be a part of this community and anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with all of you. Wishing each and every one of you a successful and fulfilling semester! You may contact me at semre@ku.edu.tr
