Koç University High School Students Programs- Library Orientations
July is a busy month of the University regarding summer schools and camps for high school students. Suna Kıraç Library supports these programs to introduce library resources available to high school students. In July, we organized orientations and Library tours for High School Summer Program and High School English Camp. For the High School Summer Program, we introduced students to Library resources and gave academic writing tips for completing their assignments in an advanced and ethical way. In addition, at the Library tour, we guided them on finding books from shelves and showed them the physical spaces. At the High School English Camp, we introduced the Library resources that would help them to improve their English language skills. We believe that all students had a fruitful summer at Koç University and the Library.

Internship at the Library
Internships offer students the opportunity to apply what they have learned about their profession and allow them to learn new information and skills. Every year the Library welcomes students from Information and Records Management Departments. This year, we had five interns in total from Istanbul University and Hacettepe University. Interns learned about cataloguing process, e-resources management, document supply procedures, reference and circulation services. In addition, two interns worked closely with the archive team and supported the cataloguing of a collection. We thank all interns for their effort on helping us and wish them to make the most of this valuable experience!
